Research: Undertaking literature reviews, mixed methods (predominantly qualitative) research and writing reports to inform and support policy, strategy and advocacy. These cover a range of diverse topic areas, from school autonomy to leadership, system change, inclusive education, gender-based violence, and respectful relationships education.

Strategic Engagement and Consultation: Designing, convening and facilitating forums, workshops and stakeholder consultations to help inform and implement policy,  projects and strategy.

Ricky's processes are focused on fostering authentic and optimistic events that help stakeholders connect, communicate, delve into an issue and find ways to work together to have a greater impact.

Ricky also convenes alliances or networks for clients.

Leadership Learning: Cohort-based leadership programs for networks of schools, leadership workshops for system and school-based leaders, keynotes, and webinars.

School-Based Leadership Development: Ricky partners with school principals and their leadership teams to help them support and develop middle leaders in their school. This usually includes a customised combination of the following elements:

- Leadership pulse check (survey)

- Workshop sessions with the senior leadership team

- Professional learning sessions with the middle leader’s cohort

- Individual leadership projects for middle leaders, which anchor leadership learning and are grounded in the school's key improvement work

- One-on-one leadership coaching and feedback
